Why the name “Soumo”?
Soumo comes from soumission — the Québec French word for a quote. The little sumo is a wink we fully own: sturdy, calm, efficient. Just like the app.
When does it ship?
Soumo is in active development and launching on the Mac App Store. Join the waitlist to be notified first.
Does it really handle Québec taxes?
Yes. GST and QST, regular method. Soumo computes your quarterly tax report from taxes collected and taxes paid.
Is my data private?
Everything lives on your Mac and syncs through your own iCloud account. No third-party server, no data resale, no ads.
